A codes enforcement officer ensures compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations. Their duties include inspecting properties, investigating complaints, and issuing citations for violations. Where to Apply:
This application must be type written or printed and completed in ink and submitted to the Code Enforcement Officer. Photograph copies via email will not be accepted. The application must be handled by the owner of the property only.
Building Permits are handled by the Florence Codes Enforcement Officer.
Permits can be emailed to: Codes@FlorenceNY.org, handed into the Town Clerk on Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays from 1-5pm or left in the dropbox by the front door.
